Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre are looking for a trainee to undertake a Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations. Working for our host in Cavan the role will be both customer focused and warehouse based.

This is a 24-month traineeship opportunity (Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations TLI30319), and great long-term career prospects apply for the right candidate.

About the company

The Adelaide warehouse has become the pilot location for Pronto Warehouse Management System project rollout. This year they have upgraded the manual picking area with 3m high mini pallet racking, installed an anti-fatigue flooring to this same area and labelled all the positions with bar codes in the entire warehouse. The store persons role is now very much in the digital space as they carry with them mobile computers to complete their actions in the system in real time and validate the steps they are taking.

  • Package materials (stores and warehouse).
  • Operate mobile load shifting equipment.
  • Undertake manual handling.
  • Undertake warehouse receivable process.
  • Undertake warehouse dispatch process.
  • Package materials (stores and warehouse).
  • Use hand tools.
  • Customer Service.
  • Data Entry.
  • Accounts.

About you 

  • You will have completed year 11 minimum.
  • Be committed to fulfil the formal training requirements and complete the Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations qualification.
  • Possess good oral and written communication skills..
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team and a great worth ethic.
  • Professional presentation and grooming.
  • Forklift Licence desirable.

Mandatory Requirements: Must be an Australian Citizen or have the correct working visa to apply.

Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre is a Group Training Organisation who employs apprentices and trainees then places them with Host Organisations. We provide support for all apprentices and trainees by way of our mentoring program which fits in with a regular cycle of visiting in the workplace and training provider. We are there to assist and guide you through not only the apprenticeship/traineeship but where necessary provide support and assistance to allow you to successfully complete your work and training commitments and gain your qualification.

This apprenticeship is a Skills Shortage Trade.
